Bremen – Leverkusen Tip
Just one point apart, Leverkusen face Werder Bremen on Sunday evening.
Both teams are stuck in mid-table and are similarly far away from the international places as they are from the relegation places.
Thus, this duel will be all the more groundbreaking, as there are only 10 matchdays left until the end of the season.
Leverkusen will be hoping to take the momentum with them after their 2-0 win in the Europa League, while Bremen will have to be careful not to suffer their fourth defeat in six games.
Both teams are well aware of the importance of this clash, which is why I predict a close but high-scoring game in my Bremen Leverkusen prediction.
The prediction of the betting companies?
Although Leverkusen have only won one of their last five matches and only one point separates the two teams, the Werkself are the clear favourites with odds of around 2.10 at online bookmakers.
However, this may also be due to the current form of the Bremen side, who have not celebrated much success recently and are therefore rightly clearly inferior with a value of around 3.40.

Will Leverkusen take the momentum from the EL with them?
In the European Cup, Bayer are in top form and have a very good chance of progressing to the next round with their win against Budapest.
And in the league, too, Xabi Alonso has put the Werkself back on track. Before he took over as coach, Bayer was in last place.
Thanks to the very convincing 4:1 victory against Hertha at the weekend, Leverkusen are well on their way to the top third of the table.

Does the Werkself remain consistent away from home?
However, the chances of an away win against Bremen are not that bad either, as Leverkusen have only lost one of their last five games in foreign stadiums.

However, I wouldn’t necessarily bet on tip X, as Leverkusen are currently in good form away from home and Bremen have looked less good at home against the Werkself in recent years.
In addition, it was also evident against Augsburg that efficiency is currently somewhat lacking. On the other hand, Bremen has a similarly good duo in Ducksch and Füllkrug as Leverkusen has in Diaby and Frimpong.
