Gladbach – Werder Bremen betting tips
The 25th matchday of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season opens on Friday evening at Borussia-Park with the clash of two table neighbours who are level on points. Mönchengladbach and Werder each have 30 points on their account.
This means that both clubs are ten points behind the first European Cup place and ten points ahead of the relegation place 16. However, both teams are in a bit of a crisis.
Gladbach is one of the weakest teams in the league away from home. Recently, they suffered three defeats away from home with a total of 1:11 goals. At home, however, the Foals are still the seventh best team in the league.
And Werder have lost 10 of 16 games since the first leg against Borussia. Only TSG Hoffenheim (13) have suffered more defeats in that period. However, the SVW has the very best memories of the first encounter against Mönchengladbach.
Here, the Green-Whites celebrated their highest win of the season with a 5:1 victory at the Weserstadion. Daniel Farke’s men, on the other hand, will think of this game with horror and want to make amends in their second encounter with the promoted team.

Analysis: Gladbach vs Werder Bremen
The Gladbach side started strongly last Saturday as guests in Leipzig. The home side couldn’t find a way through against the 4-4-2 of the Foals for a long time. But Borussia missed too many chances.

But Borussia could only win 3 of the last 7 home games. So I don’t play a result tip for this match. Instead, I expect the goal-less streak of the Farke eleven to come to an end.
