Fenerbahce and Galatasaray show no weaknesses! That’s the first piece of bad news for all those who like Besiktas. The second is that their own performances no longer match their expectations at all!

The Black Eagles are under pressure after weak away performances and have to convince on Sunday. They are the favourites at Bet365, but in my Konyaspor Besiktas tip I will reveal why I am going with the home side!

Besiktas are stumbling, and after just six matchdays! Last season’s third-placed team was supposed to launch a big attack towards Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, but instead they are already running behind the duo themselves.

They started with a late, lucky 1:0 against Karagümrük, followed by a disappointing 1:1 against promoted Pendikspor. The 2:0 against Sivasspor did not fully convince the fans either.

No sooner had they been called upon to play away again than the scoreboard showed a 0:3 at Trabzonspor! And as pleasing as the reaction was in the 2-1 win against Kayserispor, another game away from home awaited.

At Adana Demirspor, Besiktas were 4-0 down in no time at all, and the two goals they scored of their own were only enough to make up for the loss. One win and two defeats with a total of seven goals conceded, away games are truly not the favourite task yet.

Fenerbahce are already eight points away, so already the mood is starting to get dicey. If there is one thing that encourages the fans, it is perhaps that after every non-winning league game, there has been another win.

Ante Rebic, the former Frankfurt player, has also been injured recently, so he is now threatened with retirement. On the other hand, I can say that Konyaspor is already one of my favourite opponents of the past few years.

Two of the last 13 duels have been lost, with results of 3:3 and 2:1 in the 2022/23 season. How does it look when Besiktas face this club away? A little different, in fact!

Three of the most recent 14 games have been won (after 90 minutes including the cup), this yield is relatively poor. For our bookmakers, however, the Eagles are still the favourites, with the odds averaging 2.15 at 3.20.

A relatively narrow deficit for the outsiders, so a lot should be possible for Konyaspor. How have the Green-Whites started the new season? Two wins sound like a lot of room for improvement, but one defeat makes a strong impression.

The team is always cheating its way through with close results, the games are exciting until the final whistle. They drew 1-1 against Istanbulspor, Antalyaspor and Ankaragücü, and lost 2-1 against Rizespor, their only defeat.

Wins against Gaziantep (2:0) and Basaksehir (1:0). So there haven’t been too many goals, only the 1:2 against Rizespor exceeded the 2.5 mark once.

Last season, Konyaspor drew 15 times, so it’s quite possible that they will be the king of points again this season. 5-8-5 and 18:18 goals? Especially in their own stadium, mediocrity was the order of the day.

It seems as if the team is using the identical style of play, focusing on defence. After all, the fans have always seen at least two goals in the three home games so far.

Only Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have a better defence than Konyaspor, while Besiktas have conceded two more goals in their away games than their opponents this weekend.

It’s rumbling early in the season for Besiktas! While Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are in top form, the Black Eagles are struggling, especially away from home, conceding seven goals in two games recently.

Konyaspor is an opponent that can be damn unpleasant for any team. The Green-Whites play very efficiently, defensively and know that they don’t need too many goals to get points.

I could also see in my analysis that Besiktas have been struggling in Konya for a few years now and rarely get victories. That is also the reason why I choose the following bet:

Konyaspor scores against Besiktas!
