The premier class of motorcycle racing continues down under this weekend. There the Australia MotoGP takes place.

The Australian Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, October 22. The race starts at 5:00 a.m. German time.

Date & Time: When is the Australia MotoGP?

This weekend, the motorcycling king class makes a guest appearance in Australia. Dancing will take place in Phillip Island Island. The Australia MotoGP race weekend will take place from October 20 to 22 and will be held over three days.

On Friday, the free practice sessions are scheduled for the players at 1:45 and 6:00 German time.

On Saturday, the last free practice follows at 1:10 a.m. CEST, before qualifying begins 40 minutes later at 1:50 a.m.. From 6:00 a.m. German time, it continues with the sprint race over 13 laps.

The Australia MotoGP race will start at 5:00 a.m. German time on Sunday (Oct. 22).

For motorsport fans, there is also Formula 1 in the USA this weekend.

The Phillip Island schedule for MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3

Apart from MotoGP, the Moto2 and Moto3 Grand Prix are still scheduled for the race weekend in Australia.

As with MotoGP, free practice and qualifying for the other two racing classes will take place on Friday and Saturday.

The races will all take place on Sunday. After the MotoGP warm-up at 0:40, the Moto3 race will take place first at 2:00. At around 3:15, the Moto2 Grand Prix will continue.

The race start in MotoGP in Australia is early Sunday morning at 5:00 German time.

Moto GP Australia broadcast on TV and Livestream

Where is the MotoGP Australia broadcast? The broadcast of the MotoGP 2023 and therefore also the race in Australia will run in its entirety on ServusTV.

ServusTV will broadcast the race weekend in its entirety. Apart from all free practice sessions, the qualifying and the races of all motoclasses will also be broadcast there.

On ServusTV, the MotoGP Australia broadcast will begin on Sunday three quarters of an hour before the race starts at 4:15.

The track of the Australian GP

The Australian Grand Prix will be held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in 2023.

MotoGP first raced on the circuit in 1989 and it has been a permanent fixture on the calendar since 1997.

The track contains 12 corners and stretches over 4.445 kilometers.

Last year Alex Rins won the Grand Prix at Philip Island on his Suzuki.

Francesco Bagnaia has extended his lead in the riders’ standings again.

Ahead of Sunday’s race, the Italian leads Jorge Martin by 13 points. Both players are considered the hottest prospects for victory in the MotoGP race at Phillip Island.
