NFL Munich 2022: Bucs are coming to the Allianz Arena!

It has been clear for a few weeks that the NFL 2022 will come to Germany for a game, more precisely to Munich in the Allianz Arena.

Since Monday, the first team for the Munich NFL game has also been confirmed.

And it is none other than the Tampa Bay Bucaneers, as the NFL announced this afternoon.

The 2021 Super Bowl winners will play the first NFL game in Germany as the home team. However, it is still unclear against which opponent Tampa will play. We have the latest information and predictions on possible matchups for the NFL spectacle in Munich-Fröttmaning.

We also tell you how you can get tickets for the NFL Regular Season Duel and which date can be expected according to current knowledge.

Who are the Bucs playing in Munich?

Because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of four franchises to have secured the marketing rights, they will be the home team for the first NFL game at the Allianz Arena.

This narrows down the possible opponents to the following NFL Munich teams: Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs & Cincinnati Bengals.

Since the German premiere is to take place with top-class teams, it could come to a duel with the Kansas City Chiefs.

This would make the NFL Allianz Arena game between last year’s two Super Bowl teams.

No less captivating would be an NFL match in Munich against the current Super Bowl representatives Rams or Bengals.

A duel with the Green Bay Packers or the Seahawks, who are popular in Germany, would also have its charm and would be an attractive pairing.

Either way, one thing is certain: the teams involved will ride a huge wave of euphoria on the Isar and provide for enthusiasm par excellence.

When will the first NFL game take place in Munich?

The exact NFL Munich date for the game in the Allianz Arena is not yet known.

But: Through the game schedule, the potential date for the Bucs match in the Bavarian capital can be narrowed down quite concretely.

Since the International Games in England have always taken place in October in recent years, the German premiere would take place after that.

According to information from NFL insider Peter King, weeks 9 and 10 could be possible dates for the NFL game in Munich.

If this date proves to be true, the debut in the Allianz Arena would take place on 5/6 or 12/13 November
