RB Leipzig – Bayern Tip

Battle at the top of the table in the Bundesliga top match, RB Leipzig receives FC Bayern. The last direct encounters were a single disappointment from Munich’s point of view. Most recently, the record champions lost in the Supercup.

In the Red Bull Arena, Leroy Sane and Co. want to take revenge for the last defeats and move away from the East Germans in the table. I’ll tell you which bets are best for the match in my RB Leipzig Bayern tip.

Bayern Munich have made a good start to the new season. Before the start of matchday 6, the club is saluting from the top of the table for the first time, which the club secured with a landslide win against VfL Bochum.

Bayern are still level on points with Leverkusen, but now have a better goal difference than the Werkself thanks to their 7-0 win. It was Leverkusen who gave Munich their only loss of a point so far with a 2:2 draw.

The betting companies’ forecast

After the good start to the season, it is no surprise that Bet3000 sees Bayern in the favourite position. Nevertheless, a rather high win rate of 1.95 awaits.

The Leipzig home win is at 3.60, the draw at 4.30. Saturday night, many goals are expected with the strong offensives of the teams. Over 2.5 goals stand just at values of around 1.40, over 3.5 goals bring odds around 1.95 at the peak.

Analysis: RB Leipzig vs Bayern

In my opinion, however, the goal odds are still in an acceptable range. Especially if the combination of over 2.5 goals and one goal from both teams (“BTS”) is accessed.

Bet3000 has 1.55 in its repertoire for this constellation. The bookmakers offer the same odds for over 1.5 Bayern goals – definitely a bet with value in my view.

After all, Harry Kane and his team have the best offensive record in Germany: 5 games, 18 goals! That means Bayern are almost averaging four balls into the box of their rivals.

4:0 against Werder, 3:1 against Augsburg, 2:1 against Mönchengladbach, 2:2 against Leverkusen, 7:0 against Bochum, statistically speaking, the more than 1.5 Bayern goals in the league are the absolute standard so far.

In the other competitive matches against Manchester United (4:3) and Preußen Münster (4:0), Bayern also scored reliably. Only the start of the season went badly wrong with a 3-0 defeat in the Supercup against Leipzig.

However, this was also the first match for the freshly flown in Kane, who has now been able to integrate himself into the team and scored three goals against Bochum and set up two more.

Quote analysis

In the goalscoring charts, however, the Englishman has not yet reached the top. Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy has three more goals on his account. In the top game, however, Kane can close the gap.

It is very likely that he will succeed in doing so, if you take a look at Betano’s scorer odds. Sports betting fans receive 1.75 for a Kane goal. Definitely odds that suggest a goal or two…

In any case, the team’s “9” scored in five of the six games in which he was in the starting eleven. Only after coming on as a substitute in the Supercup and in Mönchengladbach did Kane not contribute a goal.

Therefore, the 1.75 is definitely worth considering. Those hoping for a double Kane will get a 4.05 from Betano, for the hat-trick a 13.5. The 3.40 for a Leroy Sane goal is also lucrative, the German winger is in top form and is already on five goals for the season.

Defensive need against Leipzig?

In the DFB Cup against Münster, Bayern had to improvise in central defence. Matthijs de Ligt, Dayot Upamecano and Min-jae Kim were all unavailable.

Therefore, Leon Goretzka moved to the back and formed the defensive line with Alphonso Davies, Konrad Laimer and Noussair Mazraoui. But Bayern fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Upamecano and Kim have returned to team training ahead of the game against Bayern. Manuel Neuer, who has been injured for a long time, also trained with the team to some extent.

Definitely absent are Serge Gnabry, who broke his forearm against Münster, and de Ligt, for whom Saturday’s game will come too soon.

New Leipzig offense ignites

Leipzig are also familiar with injured defenders this season. Currently, captain Willi Orban and El Chadaille Bitshiabu are missing from Rasenballsport.

The absences of Dani Olmo and Amadou Haidara also weigh heavily. Timo Werner, who scored the decisive 1:0 against Gladbach but had to sit out the cup match against Wiesbaden due to back problems, was also missing from the squad.

However, Leipzig’s offensive is in top form even without Werner. The three new signings Benjamin Sesko, Xavi Simons and Lois Openda have a combined total of eleven goals in competitive matches. Their goal-scoring odds on Saturday are in the region of 3.00.

Bayern and Leipzig currently have the second-best defence after Eintracht Frankfurt with only four goals conceded. The SGE have only conceded three goals.

The last two duels between the teams were played in Munich – and both times RB Leipzig won, in the Supercup with 3:0 and on the 33rd matchday of last season the record champion lost with 1:3 and almost lost the championship.

Since the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, Bayern has now waited three games for a win against the Saxons. However, the Saxons are not a home power when the FCB are guests.

Seven home games in a row RBL remained without a home win against Bayern. The last and only win at home against Bayern was celebrated by the two-time cup winners anno 2018.

After two wins in a row against the team from the Allianz Arena, will they finally get their second home win? I’ll go into that – and my betting recommendation – in my conclusion.

My RB Leipzig Bayern prediction:

Bayern definitely has a score to settle with RB Leipzig. After all, the Saxons have won the last two duels and scored three goals each time against the record champions.

Bayern have lost only one of their ten matches in Leipzig. In addition, the Tuchel team’s attack is in much better shape than in the last direct duels.

My RB Leipzig Bayern tip: Over 1.5 Bayern goals
