+ Denmark
Following the team’s elimination against Germany in the round of 16 at Euro 2024, Kasper Hjulmand, who was in charge of the Danish national team for four years, has stepped down. On Thursday, the Danish Football Association presented his successor: Brian Riemer will be Denmark’s new national team coach. The 46-year-old, who was on the sidelines at RSC Anderlecht until mid-September, has signed a contract until the 2026 World Cup. His first match will be against European champions Spain in the Nations League on November 15.
