Silvan Wallner, defender of the Austrian Bundesliga club Blau-Weiß Linz, is ending his career for religious reasons with immediate effect. This was announced by the club on Sunday. The 23-year-old Swiss player only joined the club from FC Zurich in September and played five league games for the Upper Austrians. The contract was terminated prematurely, and the parties agreed not to disclose the terms.
