Coach Wayne Rooney is history in Plymouth after just half a year. The second division club made the decision shortly before the turn of the year in response to the sporting decline under the 39-year-old, who took over the role in the summer. Under the former striker, Plymouth only managed four wins from 23 games and is in last place. It is not yet known who will take over. Kevin Nancekivell and Joe Edwards are managing the team on an interim basis.
