It had already been hinted at, now it’s official: FC St. Pauli are loaning Noah Weißhaupt from Bundesliga rivals SC Freiburg until the end of the season. The 23-year-old winger can look back on 55 Bundesliga games (one goal) for Sport-Club. “With this signing, we are creating additional options for our game in the attacking wing positions and will therefore be harder to count out in future,” said St. Pauli’s Head of Sport Andreas Bornemann, who is delighted with the transfer. Bornemann is convinced “that he will play a good role for us straight away.”
