SSC Napoli has granted the transfer request of their star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and sold the 23-year-old to Paris St. Germain. In the French capital, the Georgian signed a contract until the summer of 2029, with Napoli receiving compensation estimated at €70 million. Kvaratskhelia joined the club from the Vesuvius from Georgian club Dinamo Batumi in the summer of 2022 and has played a major role in the SSC’s recent successes, most notably in the first Scudetto in over 30 years in the 2022/23 season, scoring 30 goals and providing 28 assists in 107 appearances for the Gli Azzurri.
