Admittedly, it’s not exactly a top game! Portsmouth and Millwall play a rather minor role in the high-caliber Championship, so the postponed match, which will be played on Tuesday, is correspondingly important.

Ten of the 15 matches were lost, only one ended in victory, Portsmouth is really a very welcome guest away from home. It is therefore all the more important that a home game is on the program again.
They have conceded 13 goals at home – but almost three times as many away from home! Six wins, four draws and three defeats – that’s not bad at all. And here it is, the series I was looking for earlier.
The last defeat at home was in October, and they’ve since notched up six wins and a draw at home. 3:1, 2:1, 4:0, 4:1, 0:0, 3:0, 3:1? Apart from this one outlier, the results could hardly be more one-sided!
The only problem could be: Only once in this period was an opponent beaten who was ranked in the single digits at the time of the encounter. Millwall is currently ranked 16th – so it fits perfectly into this construct.

Portsmouth are currently playing a very offensive, successful style of play at home, but I have found results for the Millwall visitors that involve far fewer goals and more draws.
Since Millwall have only won twice away from home and Portsmouth have been in very strong form at home, the double chance 1X is a safe bet for me. Deciding whether we should bet on there being many goals or few goals was not easy.
