Gladbach – Frankfurt betting tip, AI prediction & odds 08.02.2025

Bundesliga matchday 21, Saturday, 08.02.2025 at 18:30

I’m really looking forward to this Bundesliga top match! Why? Because it’s likely to be a really tight affair and there should be plenty of goals scored. The Foals are in good form at the moment, having bagged two wins in a row.

And Frankfurt? They haven’t been able to record a three-pointer in their last three competitive matches. I didn’t like their defensive play in particular.

With a few numbers and arguments, I’ll explain in my Gladbach Frankfurt betting tip why I chose the “Gladbach over 1.5 goals” bet at Betano

In the tight midfield, Gladbach were able to make up a lot of ground and places with their 3-0 win against Bochum and 2-1 in Stuttgart. Before the start of the 21st matchday, the team from the Lower Rhine is in seventh place with good prospects of reaching the European Cup.

The gap to third-placed Frankfurt could be reduced to five points. At the same time, SGE have the opportunity to consolidate their coveted position in the table. A groundbreaking battle for important points lies ahead.

The betting providers’ forecast

The politicians are studying the predictions for the upcoming new election, but I’d rather focus on the odds for the Bundesliga top match, which also promise plenty of excitement!

Because at the German betting provider Betano, the odds are exactly even. The odds for Gladbach and Frankfurt to win are both 2.60. Anything seems possible in this match. Or does it, ChatGPT?

KI prediction Gladbach vs. Frankfurt: ChatGPT

The AI actually sees it a little differently and wants to ride Gladbach’s wave of success and has selected the home win as a medium-risk bet. Due to the clear improvement in performance in recent weeks, I can understand the selection.

If the AI had to place a bet with “low risk”, it would add the goal of both teams to the betting slip basket. I also find the odds very lucrative, but only if we add the “over 2.5 goals”

And what about the higher odds shelf? The artificial intelligence picks the Gladbach win with exactly one goal difference. Compared to the normal win odds, it’s already much higher.

The option is definitely more attractive, and I generally think that if a team is to win, it should be with a maximum one-goal lead. However, the market as a whole is too hot for me, the two Gladbach goals are much better for me on Saturday evening.

And the Foals’ offense is really fun at the moment. The Tim Kleinindienst transfer has long since paid off, and he has regularly pushed balls over the line for the five-time German champions right from the start.

With twelve goals, he is not only Gladbach’s top scorer, but also the most prolific player in the league after Harry Kane and Patrik Schick. According to his colleagues at Kicker, he is the Borussian with the best average score after Moritz Nicolas.

The 2.75 for a Kleindienst goal from Bet365 definitely makes me smile. All odds there are also free of betting tax and with the code “VIPANGEBOT” you get a fantastic new customer bonus.

Bet365 also flexes its muscles with regular odds boosts and, unlike other betting providers, now offers a betting configurator for all major sports. Most competitors only have one in the “soccer” section.

Odds Analysis

Kleindienst has incidentally struck in the past three matches. For Frankfurt, I can well imagine Hugo Ekitike making an impact.

However, he was a pale figure in the tough away game in Rome and also failed to score in the 1:1 draw against Wolfsburg.

I’m currently a big fan of the “double chance” for goal scorers at Winamax. We get 1.58 for the bet that either Ekitike or Kleindienst will score. If both score, the ticket is also through.

Ekitike has scored a whopping 25 goals in his last four Bundesliga games and, without Marmoush, is now the main scorer for the Adler.

Gladbach vs. Frankfurt: Great goal odds at Betano

I really don’t see a low-scoring game in this duel. Not only because both teams clearly have their strengths in forward play, but also because the defenses of Gladbach and Frankfurt are not the best. And they know that about each other.

True to the motto “Attack is the best defense”, I expect several goals. Betano has high odds in the over-goals market, with 1.55 waiting for over 2.5 goals, and a nice jump if we aim for over 3.5: 2.30.

VfL have actually only survived one of their last nine matches without conceding a goal.

Frankfurt and Gladbach with weak defensive values

And what about Frankfurt? The European Cup hunters have often kept a clean sheet. But their latest performance doesn’t give me confidence that they will come out of the top game unscathed. Frankfurt were well served in the 2:2 draw against Hoffenheim.

The 2-0 draw against AS Roma wasn’t great either, and the Italian capital team haven’t been the real deal in attack this season either.

I liked the 1:1 against Wolfsburg the best. Frankfurt and Gladbach are in third and fourth place for the most shots on goal allowed, top positions in an unpopular ranking.

When it comes to the number of chances created by opponents in general, the two clubs are also in the top four, hovering in the 300 club. On average, we are talking about 15 chances conceded per game.

However, both teams are also right up there when it comes to how many chances they create themselves. Figures that definitely speak for more goals

And what was it like in the first leg? Eintracht secured an unchallenged 2:0 victory and then went on to win the DFB Cup 2:1.

In the league duel, we saw a whopping 43 goals and in the cup it was not exactly a small number either with 33.

My Gladbach Frankfurt bet:

43 chances in the first leg, two strong offensives and overall vulnerable defenses among themselves. I don’t dare to make an outright bet here. After the two strong games against Bochum and Stuttgart, I expect Borussia to be able to build on their performance.

In a varied match, I reckon that the hosts around Kleindienst, who are currently in good form, will be able to score at least two home goals. Gladbach already had 25 chances in the first leg and this time they’ll be at home.

And that’s why my Gladbach Frankfurt betting tip is: Borussia will score over 1.5 goals
