Last week, kicker had already reported exclusively on Taylan Bulut’s impending contract extension at FC Schalke 04. Early on Monday evening, the Royal Blues have now put their money where their mouth is: The 19-year-old has signed a new contract until June 2029; his old contract would have expired in the summer of 2026. Bulut has been playing for S04 since the U15s and has also been a regular in the corresponding DFB selection teams since the U16s.
