Marius Wörl was the cup hero in Arminia Bielefeld’s 2-1 win in the quarter-finals against Werder Bremen. The future of the 20-year-old beyond the summer is uncertain, as the loan contract with Hannover 96 ends then. Bielefeld’s sports director Michael Mutzel suggests that the East Westphalians do not have a purchase option and that their hands are therefore tied. “As things stand, I will go back in the summer,” says Wörl, who also makes no secret of the fact that he has taken the Alm to his heart.
