level on points with Real Madrid – but a game in hand! FC Barcelona can distance themselves from their arch-rivals, shake off Atletico and put themselves in an unassailable position to win the league.
The current streak should continue on Thursday against a team that has only won once away from home. Accordingly, in my Barcelona Osasuna betting tip, I will now tell you why I am taking a handicap bet here and expecting a comfortable home win!
Who at FC Barcelona still remembers the difficult phase around Christmas? Probably no one! At the time, it seemed as if they might have already lost crucial points in the race for the championship, but there is no longer any trace of that pessimism.
While Real and Atletico made one or two slip-ups, the Catalans have been on a roll for several games. Hansi Flick’s team are currently on a seven-game winning streak, which is the same number they had at the start of the season.
Eight wins in a row? If they beat Osasuna on Thursday, Barca would set a new record. What’s interesting is that both the previous and current winning streaks include a result with seven goals.
No, I really can’t find any criticism on the offensive side. 75 goals have already been scored, making the attack by far the best of the competition. Robert Lewandowski is, of course, doing his part, scoring six times in his last seven games.
Between the end of November and the end of December, Barcelona had miraculously lost three home games, but with four wins in a row, the team has recovered.
There had only been two clean sheets at home until February, but now they have managed the feat three times in a row. What about a clean sheet against Osasuna, would this tip pay off?
You can get odds of 2.45 at Winamax. There is also an interesting bet here, which is: “Barca wins 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0.” The odds of 3.50 could be very profitable in this case.
Is Osasuna one of the Catalans’ favorite opponents? In the first half of the season, they surprisingly lost 2:4 after previously winning six in a row. Nevertheless, defeats against Osasuna have been very sporadic, with just two since 2012.
1-0, 2-0, 1-0, 4-0, 4-0? Their most recent home performances also suggest that you could be right with the win bet without conceding a goal. It should therefore come as no surprise that it is not worth considering a pure home win on Thursday.

Will FC Barcelona have the best nerves in the title race? We still have a long way to go, but the last few weeks have delivered clear results. A win on Thursday could see them distance Real by three points and Atletico by as many as six.
Additional motivation is not really needed. As for the guests, it quickly became clear to me that they simply don’t do well away from home. One win and seven goals – they can’t be feeling too confident ahead of the game at the Olympic Stadium.
Barca seem to have everything under control, both defensively and offensively. Since they will certainly want to get revenge for the 2-4 defeat in the first leg, I’m betting on a clear victory and predicting:
