Three days before the cup semi-final at VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig has parted ways with head coach Marco Rose. The 48-year-old took over the Saxons in September 2022 and led them to the Champions League and to victory in the DFB Cup in his first season. In the current season, however, RB has been faltering, most recently failing to score in six away games. After losing 1-0 at direct rivals Mönchengladbach, Leipzig is in danger of missing out on qualifying for the Champions League.
