Within 24 hours, the club from the town of Reggio nell’Emilia had replaced its coach – former player Davide Dionigi has taken charge of the relegation battle in Lombardy – and was also able to unveil a prominent new signing on Monday evening. Eight-time Italian international striker Mattia Destro will be on the hunt for goals for AC until the summer – the ex-Milan, ex-Bologna and former Roma player has been without a club since last summer.
