1. FC Heidenheim is pushing ahead with its personnel planning for the new season and has now extended the contract of goalkeeper Paul Tschernuth, which was originally due to expire at the end of the season. As the club announced on Thursday, the 23-year-old’s new contract runs until summer 2027. Tschernuth joined FCH in 2020 from the RB Salzburg youth academy and has been the reserve goalkeeper for the Ostalbstädter’s professional team ever since. However, the Austrian is still waiting for his first appearance for the first team.
