Jahn Regensburg have signed home-grown talent Ben Kieffer to a professional contract shortly before the end of the current season. The 17-year-old has been playing for the Upper Palatinate club since the U9s, has come through all the youth teams since then and made his professional debut in December in the win against Darmstadt (2:1). The defender went on to make two further appearances in the starting eleven in the Bundesliga 2.
