James Sands will continue to play for FC St. Pauli in the coming season. As the Kiez club announced on Tuesday, the loan between the Hamburg club and New York City FC, which was originally due to expire, has been extended by one year. The 13-time US international was loaned to FC St. Pauli last winter until the end of the 2024/25 season, but has only made seven appearances this season due to a complex ankle injury.
