As expected, TSG Hoffenheim has signed Dutch player Wouter Burger. The 24-year-old defensive midfielder is moving from English second division club Stoke City to Kraichgau, where he has signed a “long-term contract.” “Following the departure of Anton Stach, we wanted to strengthen our midfield. We are convinced that we have found a player in Wouter who has exactly the qualities we were looking for in this position,” said TSG managing director Andreas Schicker.
