It was an open secret that 1. FC Kaiserslautern was still looking for reinforcements for its central defense. The Red Devils have now found what they were looking for in the English Premier League at Brentford FC: Ji-Soo Kim is moving to Betzenberg on loan from the West London club. The 20-year-old South Korean has been with the Bees since summer 2023 and has made three appearances in the Premier League so far. He now hopes to get significantly more playing time with the Palatinate club, while FCK coach Torsten Lieberknecht is looking forward to having another option in central defense.
