The 25-year-old offensive player Kastriot Imeri is transferring on loan from BSC Young Boys to league rival FC Thun. The contract between Bern and Imeri, which was set to expire at the end of the season, was previously extended by one year until summer 2027. Thun has an option to buy. Imeri joined from Servette Geneva in the summer of 2022 as the most expensive transfer in Switzerland at the time (€3.5 million transfer fee) and has since played 76 competitive games (9 goals, 8 assists). He has made one international appearance for the Swiss national team.
