Christopher Nkunku’s transfer to Bayern Munich looks set to fall through. According to “Bild,” Nkunku’s agent Pini Zahavi met with Chelsea bosses on Sunday on the sidelines of the Blues’ home game against Crystal Palace (0-0). Afterward, he informed Munich that the current trend is for Nkunku (under contract until 2029) to remain in London for at least another year. Bayern would prefer to sign the 27-year-old Frenchman on loan. Most recently, it was reported that the Blues want to sell Nkunku. A loan deal has “fallen through,” Sky reported from the UK on Sunday evening. Nkunku was not included in the matchday squad on Sunday.
