Crystal Palace – Nottingham Tip Premier League, Matchday 2 on Sunday, 08/24/25 at 3:00 p.m.
Football bets on the Eagles have hardly ever paid off in this particular fixture in the past.
Surprisingly, Crystal Palace have not won any of their last 10 Premier League games against Nottingham – and yet my Crystal Palace Nottingham tip for you is a home win.
Why? The Londoners have achieved something extraordinary last year and prevented Liverpool from winning the Community Shield right at the start of the new season.
They are missing some important players, but I still have faith in their abilities this Sunday!
My Crystal Palace Nottingham tip: Crystal Palace to win
Here are the reasons for my prediction:
- Palace haven’t lost a competitive game at home since February 15!
- Nottingham haven’t won any of their last three away games at Selhurst Park!
- I liked Palace a lot last week against Chelsea (0-0)!
Crystal Palace vs. Nottingham AI predictions:
I don’t really agree with the Crystal Palace Nottingham AI prediction, but some of the suggestions cannot be refuted.
For example, “Nottingham to win” at odds of around 3.15. Surprisingly, Crystal Palace has lost the first home game of a new Premier League season 12 times in the last 16 seasons – that’s pretty impressive!
Predicted chance of winning:
| Crystal Palace win |
Draw |
Nottingham win |
| 36.5% |
26.5% |
37% |
“Eberechi Eze to score” at odds of 3.90 is a tip that I find slightly more appealing than the previous AI suggestion.
After all, Crystal Palace may not have won against Chelsea last week, but Eze was still their most active player, accounting for 6 of the Londoners’ 11 shots.
“Draw at half-time” at odds of around 1.65 is a supposedly “safe” suggestion, but it simply doesn’t appeal to me. It could be, it could be not – but with such modest odds, it’s definitely not a must.
What you need to bear in mind when betting on Crystal Palace vs. Nottingham
- Crystal Palace have never won in 10 Premier League matches against Nottingham Forest.
- Nottingham Forest picked up 33 points away from home last season – only Liverpool and Arsenal did better.
- Five of Palace’s last seven Premier League games have ended in a draw.
- Forest started the new Premier League season with a 3-1 win over Brentford.
