It had been rumored, and now it’s official: Ilkay Gündogan is leaving Manchester City and joining Galatasaray Istanbul. The former German international will not cost a transfer fee and has signed a two-year contract until 2026/27. According to the Turkish club, he will receive a fixed annual salary of €4.5 million.
