TV & stream broadcast: Who is showing Canelo vs. Crawford live?

The TV rights for the boxing match between Saul Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are not held by DAZN, which shows many major boxing matches, but exclusively by Netflix – including for German-speaking countries.

This means that Netflix will broadcast Canelo vs. Crawford live via stream. The broadcast will start in the night from Saturday to Sunday (September 14) at 3:00 a.m. German time.

The good news is that all Netflix customers can watch the mega-fight between Canelo and Crawford at no extra cost. The broadcast will not be behind an additional paywall, but will be freely accessible to Netflix subscribers.

This is the second time Netflix has broadcast a boxing match live, following the generational clash between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez won all four major super middleweight titles (WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO) in 2020 and 2021 and has defended this impressive collection repeatedly in six fights since 2022.

Canelo most recently won on points against William Scull in May of this year. In fact, he has won his last six victories all on points.

Now the 35-year-old Mexican, who is undefeated in the super middleweight division, is putting these four world championship crowns on the line again against Terence Crawford.

If he wins or draws, he gets to keep them – and with them the title of “Undisputed Champion.” At least, that’s what the best sports betting providers are assuming in their Canelo vs. Crawford betting odds and predictions.

The odds for a Canelo victory are 1.55, while a Crawford victory is priced at 2.30. The generous Interwetten betting bonus, which also includes a €10 free bet on top for new registrations, would be ideal for a bet!

Head-to-Head & Record

But: The challenger is not just anyone. Terence Crawford may only be known to boxing insiders, but he is one of the best and most successful boxers of the present day.

His resume is impressive: the 37-year-old American is still undefeated in his professional career. Crawford has won all 41 of his fights, 31 of them by knockout.

Bud last stepped into the ring in August 2024, defeating Israil Madrimov and winning the WBA super welterweight title. He is currently also the WBO welterweight champion and has already been “undisputed champion” twice: in the super middleweight and welterweight divisions.

However, Crawford will have to move up two weight classes for the fight with Canelo.

Should Crawford win, it would not only be his 42nd victory in 42 professional boxing matches, but he would also take home all four world championship belts and become the new undisputed super middleweight champion.

Fight Card & Preliminary Fights

Ahead of the boxing blockbuster between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford for four world championship crowns, there are numerous preliminary fights on the fight card.

In addition to Canelo vs. Crawford, the main card includes three other boxing fights.

Mohammed Alakel and Travis Kent Crawford will kick things off in the lightweight division. This will be followed by a super middleweight title fight: Christian Mbilli vs. Lester Martinez will box for the WBC interim belt.

When the two are done with each other, Callum Walsh and Fernando Vargas Jr. will face off in the super welterweight division.

This will be followed by the world championship showdown between Canelo and Crawford for four world titles and the “Undisputed Champion” award.
