You could call it perfect timing: on Sunday, Matthew Cash (28) scored a dream goal to give his club Aston Villa a 1-0 win over Manchester City, and the next day his contract extension was announced. According to the Premier League club, the Polish international is now tied to the club until June 30, 2029. Cash moved from Nottingham to Birmingham in September 2020.
