VfL Wolfsburg officially announced the departure of head coach Paul Simonis on Sunday evening. This ends the 40-year-old’s tenure with the Wolves after just over four months and two wins from ten Bundesliga games. U-19 head coach Daniel Bauer will take over on the sidelines on an interim basis.
