VfL Osnabrück have extended Niklas Wiemann’s contract ahead of schedule. This was announced by the third-division club on Tuesday. The 26-year-old defender joined VfL from Rödinghausen in January 2023 and has since made 81 appearances (five goals). “Niklas is vice-captain of the team and has developed into a real leader in recent years,” explains Joe Enochs, director of football at VfL.
