When is the next darts tournament in 2025?
The next darts tournament in 2025 on the international calendar is the PDC Players Championship Finals.
The Championship Finals will take place from November 21 to 23, 2025 in Minehead (England).
The broadcast will be broadcast via live stream on DAZN.

Next Darts Tournament 2025: Players Championship Finals
The next important darts tournament in 2025 is the 18th edition of the Players Championship Finals. This PDC tournament will take place from 21st to 23rd November 2025 at Butlin’s Minehead Arena in Minehead (England).
A separate ranking list, the Players Championship Order of Merit, serves as a qualification basis.
64 players will compete in the dress rehearsal for the upcoming World Darts Championship, which starts three weeks later.
The first two rounds will be played in the “Best of 11 Legs” format. In the round of 16 and quarterfinals, the “Best of 19 Legs” mode applies. The semi-finals and the final will then be played as “Best of 21 Legs”.

The World Cup from 11 December 2025
The PDC World Darts Championship 2025/26 will take place from December 11, 2025 to January 3, 2026.
The venue is once again the venerable Alexandra Palace, the temple of darts β affectionately called Ally Pally among darts fans.
A total of 96 players are taking part in the World Championship, the top 32 of the PDC Order of Merit are firmly qualified.
In addition to the top 32 of the PDC Order of Merit, there are also the best 32 of the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit as well as 32 winners of tournaments organized worldwide, the “International Qualifiers”, among which the three women’s starting places will again be awarded.
How many and which German players will be at the 2025 World Darts Championship will only be decided in the course of the season. Anyone who is in the top 32 of the Order of Merit on the cut-off date is firmly qualified. Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko have the best chances of doing so.
Next Darts Tournament 2026: Bahrain Masters in January
The next darts tournament in 2026 is the Bahrain Masters. The tournament has been new to the international darts calendar since 2023 and is part of the PDC World Series of Darts.
The Bahrain Masters will be held for the fourth time in 2026 on January 15 and 16 at the Bahrain International Circuit.
A total of 16 players will take part in the tournament. In addition to the top-6 of the PDC Order of Merit, these include two wildcard players and eight local qualifiers.
The mode: The tournament will be played in a knockout system. In the first round, the game mode is a “Best of 11 Legs”, in the quarter-finals “Best of 15 Legs” is played. The semi-finals and the final will also be played in the “Best of 15 Legs” format.
Next Darts Tournament 2026: Saudi Arabia Darts Masters
New on the 2026 darts calendar is the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters, which is part of the PDC World Series.
The new Saudi Arabia Darts Masters will take place in Riyadh on 19 and 20 January 2026.
A total of 16 players will take part in the tournament. In addition to the top-6 of the PDC Order of Merit, these include two wildcard players and eight local qualifiers.
The mode: The tournament will be played in a knockout system. In the first round, the game mode is a “Best of 11 Legs”, in the quarter-finals “Best of 15 Legs” is played. The semi-finals and the final will also be played in the “Best of 15 Legs” format.
When is the next darts tournament in 2026? The Masters in January
The next darts tournament in 2026 is the prestigious “The Masters”, the first major tournament of the year in the PDC darts calendar from January 28th to February 1st. The venue is the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes (England).
The 32 best players in the PDC world rankings will compete against each other at The Masters.
The field of participants has been expanded by eight to 32 players. For the first time, the Masters counts as a ranking tournament and thus for the Order of Merit.
Before the main competition, a preliminary round will be held, in which players from the other PDC tournament series can participate in addition to the non-qualified tour card holders. These will be divided into 32 groups before the leaders of the groups play for eight qualifying places for the World Masters.
The top 8 in the world rankings have a bye to The Masters schedule for the 1st round, they enter the tournament from the round of 16.
Last year’s winner is Luke Humphries.
Next darts tournament in 2026: Premier League from February 5
When is the next PDC Dart Event 2026? From February 5 – that’s when the Darts Premier League 2026 starts.
The Premier League Darts is the most important tournament in the 2026 darts calendar after the World Championship. Always the same eight players (the top 4 of the PDC Order of Merit and four by “Wild Card”) compete against each other on a total of 17 match days in seven nations from February to May.
After 16 matchdays, the top 4 in the final table will play for the “championship title” at the Final Four tournament (28 May 2026 in London).
The format is as follows: Each match will be played in the “Best of 11 Legs” format. Whoever wins 6 legs first wins the match.
For the matchday, the winner gets five points for the overall standings, the losing finalist gets three and the semi-finalists get two points each for the overall standings.
PDC Tournaments & Dates 2025 β These Are the Majors
π― The Masters: Since 2013, it has been the first TV tournament after the World Championship to feature 24 players (Top-24 Order of Merit) every year. Since 2015, the venue has been the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes. The tournament will be played in a knockout system in the best of legs game mode.
π― Premier League of Darts: Has been around since 2005 and is not an ordinary tournament, but has consisted of 16 individual tournaments since 2022. Points are awarded for each event. The four best after these 16 tournaments will play for the title in the Final Four. Tournament duration: From February to May.
π― UK Open: At the UK Open (first edition in 2003) there are no seeding lists β everyone can be drawn against everyone. It is comparable to the DFB Cup in football. A total of 128 players are taking part, but the top 32 of the PDC Order of Merit are firmly qualified.
π― World Cup of Darts: The World Cup of Darts was launched in 2010 β it is the only team competition in darts. The two best players from each nation compete for their country in the Order of Merit.
π― World Matchplay: Held since 1984 and is one of the oldest major tournaments of the PDC. The venue is the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The special thing about this tournament with 32 participants was that it is played until the winner has a two-leg lead at the end. In the meantime, however, the rule has been relaxed.
π― World Grand Prix: The World Grand Prix (which has been around since 1998) is the only major tournament that is played according to the unusual game mode “Double-In/Double-Out” and thus offers extra excitement. 32 players are participating, the top 16 of the Order of Merit.
π― European Darts Championship: The European Championship has been around since 2008 and is the second and largest major tournament organised by PDC Europe. The top 32 players on the European Tour will play for the European Championship title in the final tournament.
π― World Series of Darts Finals: The top 4 of the PDC Order of Merit after the World Championship as well as four other top players are entitled to participate. At the end of the year, the best players will compete for overall victory in the so-called World Series Finals.
π― Grand Slam of Darts: Since 2007, the Grand Slam of Darts has been held as a ranking tournament. The Grand Slam begins with a group stage (8 groups of four players each) and takes place annually in Wolverhampton.
π― Players Championship Finals: This tournament, which has been around since 2009, spans nearly 30 days of play throughout the year. In the final tournament, the best 64 players of the year will meet.
π― Darts World Championship: The crowning glory of a year or the cracking start β depending on how you want to look at it, as the World Darts Championship (officially: PDC Darts World Championship) always starts in mid-December and ends on the first days of January. The tournament, which was held for the first time in 1994, is by far the most prestigious tournament in the PDC.
Next Darts Tournament 2026 of the PDC World Series
Since 2013 the PDC has been using the name “World Series of Darts” to market its own series of invitational tournaments worldwide, where especially the top darts players can present themselves worldwide.
At the end of the year, a final tournament will be held under the name “World Series of Darts Finals”.
A total of 7 events are entered on the list of darts dates 2026. New is the “Saudi Arabia Darts Masters”.

The final tournament will take place from 17 to 20 September 2026 in Amsterdam (Netherlands).
Next Darts Tournament 2026: This is how the PDC Europe Tour is going
In addition to the big PDC tournaments (“Majors”), there are other important events on the darts calendar 2026. These take place as part of the PDC European Tour, among others.
The European Tour 2026 includes a total of 15 tournaments. Five tournaments will be held in Germany (GΓΆttingen, Riesa, Munich, Sindelfingen, Kiel, and Leverkusen).

Also in Austria a tournament of the PDC Europe Tour will take place again. This will take place from 8 to 10 May 2026 in Graz. The end of the season will be played in Maastricht in mid-October.
