Leipzig – Bremen Tip, AI Prediction & Odds 23.11.2025

Leipzig – Bremen Tip Bundesliga, Matchday 11 on Sunday, 23/11/2025 at 15:30 CET

Leipzig against Bremen – it’s something like the secret top game of the 11th Bundesliga matchday. After all, RB, as second in the table, will meet an in-form Wederaner, who have recently picked up 11 out of a possible 15 points.

Accordingly, I expect a hard piece of work for the Saxons in my Leipzig Bremen tip and do not assume that RB can completely indemnify.

The combination bet “Win Leipzig & Both Teams Score” is excellently rated at odds of approx. 2.30 and is one of the highlights of the entire matchday for me.

The fact is that Bremen can travel to the east of Germany with great self-confidence. In the last five games, at least one point has always been scored. However, it is also true that the Werder team has not played against a top team recently.

With Pauli, Heidenheim, Union, Mainz and Wolfsburg, points were only scored against teams from the lower half of the table. Leipzig is a completely different caliber in that respect.

In fact, Leipzig are the first contenders for the runner-up title for me this season. The fact that the Saxons are not active in the European Cup should ultimately prove to be a decisive advantage.

Leipzig – Bremen Prediction & Betting

My first tip alternative is the bet “Under 4.5 goals”. The odds around 1.45 are still acceptable. The statistical basis: In the last eight Werder games, the bet would have gone through.

In my opinion, the tip “draw at half-time” at odds around 2.80 is also strong. I assume that Leipzig will only win the game in the last third of the season. For example, a 1-1 draw at half-time fits into my forecast without any problems.

At the same time, I can live the classic “Both teams to score” to your heart. With odds around 1.50, you can’t do much wrong. In six of the last seven RB games, this selection would have worked.

This is what you need to consider when betting on Leipzig vs. Bremen

  • RB Leipzig are unbeaten in their last ten Bundesliga games against Werder Bremen. The hosts also go into the game after winning their first four Bundesliga home games for the first time since their debut season.
  • Only St. Pauli (1.32 xG) has generated fewer expected goals from set pieces this Bundesliga season than Werder Bremen (1.97 xG).
  • RB Leipzig has now risen to become the second strongest contender in the betting market “Bundesliga victory without Bayern Munich” – only Borussia Dortmund is traded higher. Leipzig are currently in second place in the table, one point ahead of Dortmund.
  • Jens Stage has scored ten of his 14 Bundesliga goals away from home since the start of the 2024/25 season. No other midfielder in the league has scored so many away goals in this period. With four goals after ten games, Stage also leads Bremen’s scorer list for the 2025/26 season.

Leipzig – Bremen: AI Tip & Odds Analysis

Of course, our AI model is also back at the start and presents you with three more betting alternatives in its very own Leipzig Bremen AI forecast.

With the first tip, the digital brain makes it uncomplicated. “Sieg Leipzig” scratches the 1.50 mark and makes sense, of course. For the back of your mind: RBL have won all league home games this season so far.

The second selection of AI is also interesting. “Leipzig under 2.5 goals” is provided by the top bookmakers with odds of about 1.80. Considering that Bremen have only conceded more than one goal in the last five games, the bet is not a bad idea.

The third tip goes full risk and on a result bet. The “2-1 for Leipzig” is at odds of about 9.25 and is also the most likely final result for the duel between RB Leipzig and Werder Bremen from the point of view of the bookmakers.

The best odds for Leipzig vs. Bremen

The odds for Leipzig against Werder Bremen see the hosts as clear favourites – with an implied chance of victory of over 65%.

An Asian Handicap of -1.25 was applied to Leipzig. This line requires a victory for the hosts with at least a two-goal lead. If Leipzig wins by only one goal, all pro-Leipzig players will receive half of their stake back on the -1.25 line.

The Asian goal line for Leipzig against Werder Bremen is over/under 3.5 goals. So if you bet on “Over”, you need four or more hits in the game to win.

Our internal prediction model predicts 3.41 goals for RB Leipzig against Werder Bremen – the highest expected goal value of any Bundesliga game this weekend. Nevertheless, the AI sees a 53.9% probability that the current 3.5 line will remain “below”.

Nine Leipzig players are listed at a lower rate than the visitors’ top-rated striker, Victor Boniface, who remains goalless for Werder Bremen.

Conrad Hamer is the only player to be credited with a “odds-on” quota for scoring goals – although he has not yet scored for his new club.

Leipzig vs Bremen Match Analysis:

With several teams fighting for a place in the top four, this game is of enormous importance for second-placed Leipzig. Werder Bremen travel as eighth in the table, but are only seven points behind the hosts.

Leipzig goes into the game as favourites and is likely to be dominant for long stretches. However, the guests will certainly have dangerous phases of possession.

Under Ole Werner, Leipzig increasingly refrained from aggressive pressing. As a result, the team is only in the bottom third of the Bundesliga in terms of “field tilt” – a key figure for territorial dominance.

However, the more compact approach against the ball does not inhibit Leipzig’s creativity. Werner-Team has the second most shots in the league and the second most ball actions in the opponent’s penalty area.

The willingness to play direct, straightforward passes should ensure that the hosts create numerous chances.

Werder Bremen has the third-worst xGA (Expected Goals Against) value in the Bundesliga at 18.79. Organizational disorder remains a problem. Although the guests can certainly be dangerous for Leipzig, the defensive difficulties of Horst Steffen’s team are likely to be the deciding factor in this duel.

Leipzig Form Check

Leipzig want to make up for the defeat against Hoffenheim and get back on track with a win. Another success would be the fifth league home win in a row this year – only one less than the Bundesliga club record set between April and September 2023.

With the fourth-best attack in the league in terms of goals from the current game (20), Leipzig is clearly one of the positive surprises in the Bundesliga this season. The team shines particularly in transition play: an average of 2.40 direct attacks per game – the best value in the Bundesliga – underlines this.

Leipzig’s starting strength is also striking: 65% of the goals this season came in the first half, 13 of a total of 20 goals. Only Leverkusen is slightly higher at 67%.

Leipzig are unbeaten in ten Bundesliga games against Bremen, seven of which have been won. Ole Werner, who coached the guests for three and a half years between 2021 and 2025, knows exactly how to extend this positive streak even further.

Bremen Form Check

Fifteen points from the first ten games are a solid start for Bremen, who are unbeaten in five league games.

Can we expect more from Horst Steffen’s team? After all, Bremen has only collected more points once in the past twelve seasons at this point – in 2018/19 it was 17 points.

In the long term, however, holding on to eighth place seems more realistic for a team that has not won away from home since September 14, when they defeated Gladbach 4-0.

With the ninth-best attack in the league, but only eleventh place in expected goals, Bremen has recently adopted a much more direct style of play.

In the last-minute win against Wolfsburg, Bremen set a new Bundesliga season high with 38 crosses from the game – the highest in a Bundesliga game for the club since January 2010.

And: Bremen have scored in nine of the last ten Bundesliga away games – with the exception of the 4-0 defeat against Bayern. Steffen’s team can therefore cause Leipzig problems, even if the hosts will rely on ball control.
