Third division club 1 FC Saarbrücken continues to clean up the coaching staff. After head coach Alois Schwartz and assistant coach Dimitrios Moutas have already left the club, the Saarlanders are also parting ways with assistant coach Yannic Thiel with immediate effect. The 36-year-old joined the club in the summer of 2022 as manager Rüdiger Ziehl’s preferred candidate. Interim head coach Jürgen Luginger is now dispensing with the services of the two previous assistants.
