After 14 games on the sidelines, Sandro Wagner vacates the coaching chair of FC Augsburg. Two days after the 3-0 defeat at TSG Hoffenheim, the separation between the Fuggerstädter and the 38-year-old is amicable. Wagner came from the DFB in the summer, where he was assistant coach under national coach Julian Nagelsmann. At FCA, he was only able to celebrate four wins, one draw and nine defeats. Former Augsburg coach Manuel Baum will take over on an interim basis until the winter break.
