Dortmund – Bodö/Glimt Tip Champions League, Matchday 6 on Wednesday, 10.12.2025 at 21:00 CET
With the Interwetten app, I found the colour-matching provider to put my Dortmund Bodö/Glimt tip to the test. After all, this encounter is under the sign of the colors black and yellow.
Meanwhile, the chances of being successful with the Oddset odds boost are high – but not so much to be happy with an away win bet on the Norwegians on Wednesday.
Because beating Borussia will be extremely difficult. It may be the first competitive match between the two clubs ever, but Kovac’s team should be able to make their mark on the game early on and then not look around until the end.
This encounter has never happened before, but Norwegian clubs are no strangers to Borussia.
Borussia Dortmund have never played against Bodø/Glimt, but have generally lost only one of six European games against Norwegian teams (W4 D1).
The only defeat came in October 1999 in the Champions League at Rosenborg with 0:3.
Dortmund – Bodö/Glimt Prediction & Betting Tips
It’s actually in the air, isn’t it? In my Dortmund Bodö/Glimt prediction, I rely exclusively on betting scenarios that assume at least three goals.
Not only because the playing style of both teams easily allows it, but also because Borussia’s six European games against Norwegian clubs produced an average of 5.5 goals. Madness, isn’t it?
In any case, if I were you, I would have the options Over 3.5 goals and Dortmund scores in both halves at odds of 1.88 and 1.70 respectively on your own betting slip.

Dortmund – Bodö/Glimt: AI Tip & Odds Analysis
Borussia Dortmund scores an average of 2.5 Champions League goals per 90 minutes under Niko Kovac. No wonder this also influenced our independent Dortmund Bodö/Glimt AI forecast.
For example, our data model recommends the selection 2+ goals: BVB, which is popular with every bookmaker without tax, at values that are between 2.22 and 2.33, depending on the provider.
In my eyes, one or two more goals could be scored in the end …
1. Goalscorer: Serhou Guirassy is traded on the betting markets at values around 4.20 and is also on the radar of our data model.
In fact, only Erling Haaland needs fewer Champions League minutes to score than the Dortmund player – Guirassy scores an average of every 101 minutes.
Personally, I find this suggestion interesting, but would prefer the less risky variant “Serhou Guirassy scores” at odds of around 1.80.
The best odds for Dortmund vs. Bodö/Glimt
Let’s take a fresh look at the Dortmund Bodo/Glimt odds – a market that sends very clear signals, but still has its own nuances.
A BVB win is currently listed at 1.27. The bookmakers seem to have no doubts that Dortmund are in a different category in terms of personnel, individually and playfully.
Home advantage, possession dominance and the higher basic speed of the offense are apparently heavily weighted here.
The draw is priced at 6.50 – a value that clearly shows that the bookmakers do not completely rule out a tough attrition game or a surprisingly stable Bodo/Glimt, but classify it as rather unlikely.
For an away win of the Norwegians there is a 9.00. This is the kind of quota that signals: “A lot would have to come together.”
At the same time, Bodo/Glimt have a reputation for occasionally annoying large teams with courageous direct play – it is precisely this outsider DNA that makes such high values attractive to some punters.
Dortmund vs Bodo/Glimt Match Analysis:
Borussia will clearly dominate the game. With possession, pace and field superiority, the Westphalians put Bodö/Glimt under pressure from the start.
Serhou Guirassy up front provides constant danger in the penalty area and forces the Norwegians to be on their guard at all times.
A goal against is not ruled out, but Dortmund has the means to control the game over the full 90 minutes.
High ball recoveries could be decisive: BVB repeatedly opens up spaces in midfield in order to switch quickly and set the scene for the offensive.
Bodö/Glimt must be particularly careful because the Norwegians are prone to early turnovers. Only Paris SG (4) have conceded more goals after high turnovers this CL season than the Norwegians (3 out of 11 shots).
Dortmund is even the most dangerous team in this discipline: 4 goals from 9 shots after winning the ball speak for themselves. The game will be a mix of controlled build-up, quick transition moments and consistent chance conversion.
Those who use the spaces could set the course early on, while the opponent has to lie in wait for mistakes. An exciting, fast-paced duel is guaranteed.
Dortmund Form Check
Dortmund are back in full attack mode this UCL season and are resolutely aiming for a top-8 finish.
With 17 goals already, Borussia are only behind PSG in the league, which further underlines the high output.
The Black & Yellows’ home form also speaks clearly in their favour: just one defeat from the last 20 UCL home games is a massive statement, and the team looks particularly mature, determined and dominant at Signal Iduna Park.
Since the upcoming tasks against Tottenham and Inter will be much more difficult, a three-point win is almost mandatory to consolidate the starting position in the race for the top places.
Dortmund look well-structured, eager to play and defensively more stable than in some other phases of recent years – their form curve continues to point upwards, and their confidence in possession and quick combination play make them one of the most unpleasant opponents in the entire competition at the moment.
Bodö/Glimt Form Check
For Bodö/Glimt, the first full UCL season is predictably tough, even if the team hardly owes anything in terms of fighting. Still without a win after five games and with only two draws, the lack of experience at this level is a clear hurdle.
The last three defeats in a row are putting additional pressure on morale, and the pressure is rising, because the rest of the program is one of the most demanding of the entire league phase.
In addition, there is the missed Norwegian championship – again by only one point – which does not necessarily lift the mood in the team.
Internationally, the negative run continues: Eight European games without a win, six of them defeats, are a clear indication that the team does not act forcefully enough in decisive moments.
The offensive penetration is somewhat lacking, the balance often tips in the second half, and away from home they look particularly vulnerable.
All in all, Bodø arrives in difficult shape, but never gives up – even if a victory here is more in the area of a small sensation.
