With 44 goals conceded in 19 games, SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball has the second-worst defence of the current third division season, the Spatzen want to remedy this with the signing of Niko Vukancic. The 23-year-old central defender was last under contract with Erzgebirge Aue for two years and made 42 third-division appearances there, after his departure in the summer he played for two months at MFK Skalica in Slovakia before he was without a club since September.
