Brentford – Tottenham Tip Premier League, Matchday 19 on Thursday, 01/01/26 at 21:00
While the Bundesliga is still dormant, the Spurs are being served a successful start to 2026 on a silver platter – at least according to the not always entirely trustworthy paper form.
Tottenham have never suffered a defeat in the derby at the Bees – and just four weeks ago Brentford was defeated 2-0 at home in one of the last games of the first half of the season.
The fact that there was only one defeat in a total of nine duels is, in my opinion, anything but a guarantee of further points for the game on New Year’s Day.
After Liverpool, among others, came away empty-handed at the Gtech Community Stadium this season, I decided in my Brentford Tottenham tip for the Bees’ seventh home win in total!
Brentford vs. Tottenham AI Predictions:
It may feel a bit strange for the likes of us to play against the best away team in the English league on the first day of the new year, but my AI tool approaches the matter without emotion.
Since Tottenham has recently lost momentum away from home with only one win from the last four PL guest games, the Double Chance 1X at odds of only 1.40 is almost a kind of concession to the visitor.
The Brentford Tottenham AI tip “Both teams to score” is noticeably better, for which, for example, the betting providers without tax promise the repayment of 1.7 times the stake in the event of success.
Predicted chance of winning:
| Win Brentford |
Draw |
Win Tottenham |
| 41.9% |
25.3% |
32.8% |
In general, it doesn’t seem to be too bad an idea to speculate on a high-scoring affair here. The Bees have only been involved in one of the last six competitive games in a game with over 2.5 goals:
However, with the 4-1 home win against Bournemouth a few days ago, the good old days were picked up. On average, more than three goals were scored per home game of the Bees (goal difference of 20:10 after 9 games).
In this respect, it seems quite logical that the AI has an addition to the aforementioned “BTS” up its sleeve. The admittedly somewhat courageous combination of Over 3.5 Goals & Both Goals is good for a strong value of 3.70 at Oddset thanks to an odds boost.
