4 Hills Tournament 2026 Innsbruck: The Ski Jump

On January 23, 1927, the first jumping competition took place on the Bergisel on the natural hill. A year later, an inrun tower was erected.

From 2001 to 2003, the Bakken and the facility were rebuilt. The construction cost a total of 12 million euros.

In 2002, the London architect Zaha Hadid received the Austrian State Prize for Architecture for the building, and it is now considered one of the most architecturally important sports buildings in Austria.

The Bergisel Ski Jump – Facts & Figures:

  • Tower height: 50 meters
  • K-point: 120.0 meters
  • Hill size: 128.0 meters
  • Inrun length: 98.0 meters
  • Take-off speed: approx. 92 km/h
  • Hill record: 138.0 meters – Michael Hayböck (AUT/2015)

  • Last Austrian winner: Stefan Kraft (2025)

Who will win the Bergisel Jumping in Innsbruck?

The list of favorites for the Four Hills Tournament Innsbruck 2026 Bergiselspringen is once again very short. With Domen Prevc, there is currently only one realistic winner.

Or will the great tour dominator fail in the third competition due to the wind conditions? Anything else seems unrealistic in view of his performances, including victories in Oberstdorf and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Jan Hörl is most likely to be trusted by the bookmakers to make Prevc falter. After all, the Austrian won the home game in Innsbruck two years ago.

Ryoyu Kobayashi also showed a much improved performance at the New Year’s competition and could also be a candidate to spoil Prevc’s Grand Slam.

And what are the German chances of winning the Innsbruck Bergisel Show Jumping?

Philipp Raimund and Felix Hoffmann are the clear hopefuls, as they have been in the previous tour. While Raimund is in 6th place in the overall standings, Hoffmann is even just behind Stephan Embacher in fourth place.

The Innsbruck winners since 2015:

  • 2025: Stefan Kraft (AUT)
