Mali – Tunisia Tip Africa Cup, Round of 16 on Saturday, 03.01.26 at 20:00
The Africa Cup of Nations is entering the hot phase. In the round of 16, Mali will have to deal with Tunisia, but will have to settle for the role of outsider.
This is not surprising. After all, Mali did not exactly cover themselves with glory in the group stage with three draws. Two goals scored also do not speak for their own offensive power.
Accordingly, in my Mali Tunisia tip, I target the bet “Under 1.5 goals” at odds of around 2.25 at Bet-at-home – with a view to a Bet-at-home odds boost. The fact that Tunisia had to settle for a 1-1 draw against outsiders Tanzania in the last preliminary round match fits the picture all too well.
Mali vs. Tunisia AI Predictions:
In the knockout phase of the Africa Cup of Nations, our AI model will of course take a close look and serve you more prediction alternatives in its Mali Tunisia AI prediction.
Just like me, the digital brain also assumes a close affair. So the bet “draw at half-time” makes perfect sense. The bookmakers reward the tip with odds of around 1.85. For the back of the mind: In three of the last four Mali games, the bet would have fit.
Predicted chance of winning:
| Victory Mali |
Draw |
Victory Tunisia |
| 32.3% |
31.8% |
35.9% |
The AI takes even more risk with the second tip and selects “0:0 at halftime” at this point. Mali’s minimalist approach to the game allows for this, of course, especially since you can get weak at odds of about 2.20. And: Two of Mali’s three group games went into the break with a clean sheet.
Finally, the AI takes aim at the bet “Tunisia to win”. The German bookmakers quote the tip at around 3.45. However, I am not really satisfied with this. After all, I wouldn’t be surprised if the game goes into extra time with a 0-0 draw.
