Because Shio Fukuda only made nine mostly short appearances for Karlsruher SC in the first half of the season, Borussia Mönchengladbach wanted to bring the striker back early and loan him out elsewhere. KSC put a stop to this. “We’re going through with it because we fully believe in Shio,” said KSC managing director Mario Eggimann.
