Tobias Fleckstein has been playing for MSV Duisburg for five and a half years now and has experienced some ups and downs with the Zebras. In the current season, the 26-year-old defender is also one of the top performers in the surprise third place in the 3rd division, in which Fleckstein has not missed a single minute so far. To the delight of the club, Fleckstein has now decided to extend his contract with MSV early. “In the last year and a half, it has been more than pleasing to see how he has also made such a great personal development parallel to the MSV path and has become an indispensable regular,” said sporting director Chris Schmoldt, explaining the extension of the contract, the duration of which MSV does not provide any information. “Despite some opportunities, Flecki’s extension is his clear commitment to the club.”
