Leonardo Scienza (27) would like to get a second chance at FC Schalke 04 one day. “The only thing I didn’t want in my career was to leave Schalke,” explained the attacker, who moved from Heidenheim to Southampton in the summer, in an interview with Transfermarkt. “I was very sad about it because, as a Schalke fan, I really wanted to stay with the club that was close to my heart. My biggest dream in life is to play as a professional in the Veltins Arena for a year at some point.” From 2020 to 2022, Scienza played for Schalke II, but never for the first team.
