Daniel Altmaier and Dominik Koepfer will not have it easy on the court in the first round. Against Luca Nardi and Andrea Vavassori, the sympathies in the stands are clearly divided. At least they have a good chance of making it through to the second round.

Ten matches, eight wins, a strong record for Struff, who has tumbled down the world rankings despite his successes. As a finalist in Madrid 2023, he lost a few points as a round of 16 finalist in 2024. Nevertheless, he has only ever been beaten on clay by the high-flyers Sinner and Alcaraz.
