Super Bowl 2026, Monday, 09.02.2026 at 00:30
The biggest sporting event of the year is coming up! No other event that takes place on a single evening electrifies people worldwide as much as the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, 14-3 is the value that has led both teams into the playoffs! Both the Seahawks and the Patriots won 14 of their 17 regular season games each and now trust their respective defensive work almost as much as I trust my nose for successful sports betting.
My Super Bowl prediction is also a Patriots Seahawks tip on a game that could hardly be closer and more exciting – possibly even until the end!
Since the motto in this late phase of the postseason is anyway “Offense wins games; Defense wins Championships”, I deliberately speculate on Under 49.0 points at odds of currently 1.55.
Incidentally, this is not the first time the two opponents have faced each other: After the last Super Bowl they played together a few years ago, the Patriots narrowly won 28-24.
However, this is completely irrelevant with regard to your very own Super Bowl tip! A look at our compilation of the top 5 bets for this match makes much more sense!
Because: Not a single player from that final is still part of the respective squad today, only McDaniels is still on the sidelines as coach!
However, this upcoming rematch is still something very special, because it is the first time since Super Bowl XXXVIII that two teams that did not even make the playoffs last season will compete against each other!
Left and right, you can select spiced up bets in the form of so-called bet365 boosts, which could give you even richer winnings than usual at this major event.
And at bet365 in particular, I’ve seen some great offers these days that affect various players who could appear as potential touchdown scorers – and if you’re expecting that anyway, you should grab it quickly!
I show myself to be completely uninterested in my personal Super Bowl tip! I strongly assume that – if any points are added to the tableau – these mostly successful kicking attempts come from them.
That’s why I’m betting on Under 49.0 points:
I’m betting on under 49.0 points because both teams rely on solid defense and straightforward ABC football rather than risky passes deep into the opponent’s end zone!
The Patriots are underestimated in my eyes anyway – especially their excellent defensive work! Five of their last six opponents have scored less than 11 points against them – including teams that were previously believed to be capable of the Super Bowl, such as the Texans or the Broncos.
The Seahawks are still the stronger team, but it will still be a game of patience. Klint Kubiak’s offense is more controlled than explosive anyway – it scores exactly when it is necessary and only tends to risky maneuvers in exceptional cases!
In short, strong defenses and controlled offenses are likely to ensure that no more than 49 points are scored in total – in some realistic scenarios, even significantly less!
In any case, don’t expect any wild maneuvers at the 4th-and-down. In the Super Bowl, in case of doubt, it is better to punt than play! If there is no need or there is a tush push range, the thing is kicked away cleanly!
Admittedly, the past finals were rich in touchdowns, but the Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes were always at the start.
Consequently, in view of KC’s offensive playbook, you didn’t have to be surprised if a completely different dynamic developed in the game than the one I now expect on Sunday!
Since neither the Seahawks nor the Patriots have a comparable playmaker, they will finally remember what has brought them this far: tough defensive work!

Patriots vs. Seahawks Betting Prediction:
Shortly before the grand finale, I clearly show my colors with my Super Bowl tip, but even established and new bookmakers have to come out with the language of how they assess the situation!
In conclusion, with regard to the Patriots Seahawks betting odds, the 1.44 for a victory of the “Legion of Boom” captures the opinion of most NFL experts worldwide quite well.
Because in fact, I have asked around everywhere, and almost every seasoned connoisseur of this sport sees SEA ahead with 3 to 7 points! Consequently, you can expect significantly higher Patriots odds around 2.87 if things turn out differently in the end!
Patriots vs. Seahawks Statistics & Analysis
Let’s start with a few facts. The match will take place in Santa Clara, California, while the national anthem will be sung by Charlie Puth. The halftime show, on the other hand, is taken over by Bad Bunny.
Now to how both teams got to the Super Bowl: Defense, Defense, Defense. Don’t be distracted by the fact that Seattle allowed 27 points in the “semifinals” against the Rams.
On the one hand, these were significantly more points than they had conceded in the previous three games in total (19), and on the other hand, they had to deal with Matthew Stafford and the best passing offense in the NFL.
However, the Patriots do not have comparable offensive potential to that of the Rams. Consequently, it will be a Super Bowl, where the gain in space will be limited – and don’t underestimate New England!
The Chargers (3), Houston (16) and Denver (7) each scored only a few points against them, and most of the time it was the first-class defense that forced decisive turnovers and fumbles and thus relieved their own offense of a lot of work!
Whether you think Drake Maye is up to the task or not, I’m not worried about defending the Pats!
Patriots – Seahawks Odds Analysis
The selection Under 45.5 points at odds around 1.87 offers real value, because both teams are likely to run into problems offensively.
The Patriots O-line has already had difficulties against strong pass rushers in the postseason – and the Seahawks are now bringing their toughest offensive pressing to the field to date.
At the same time, Mike Vrabel will do everything he can to make life difficult for Sam Darnold and take Jaxon Smith-Njigba out of the game. Explosive plays could remain rare, leaving the game well below 45 points.
That’s why SEA under 2.5 touchdowns at odds around 2.25 is realistic: The Patriots defense hardly allows big plays, forces long drives, and the Seahawks offense probably won’t get beyond two touchdowns.
According to my Super Bowl prediction, the ball is probably kicked between the poles much more often than carried into the end zone!
The Pats’ defense will surprise everyone!
There’s a good reason why I don’t commit to the Seahawks in the end, but rather bet on a game with a little points. In my eyes, that’s the only thing that’s halfway safe on Sunday!
The Patriots’ defense should not be underestimated – and I will never tire of repeating it!
In recent weeks, they have proven to be virtually unbeatable – allowing only 26 points in the last three games, teaching Justin Herbert to fear, stopping the Broncos’ running game completely and forcing C.J. Stroud to four turnovers.
In addition, the Patriots now had two full weeks to adjust precisely to the predictable, but still effective offense of the Seahawks through plenty of tactical analysis.
I don’t see that Sam Darnold can suddenly improvise enough or come up with creative solutions to seriously confuse this defense.
Therefore, no matter which team ultimately wins the game, the strong defense of the Pats will keep the score low and make a calm, tactical final likely – that’s exactly why I’m counting on a low-scoring game.
The defense is the best part of the team on both sides!
Both teams really turned up the heat defensively in the playoffs, not just New England! The Seahawks have only let their opponents score just under 17 points per game.
Offensively, however, both are not exactly “explosive” – the Patriots have recently seen their efficiency (EPA/Play) drop from 0.155 to 0.112 because they had to play against strong defenses. And the Seahawks produce solid numbers, but no extreme big plays.
If you combine that, it means that many drives end in midfield, explosive touchdowns are rare, the defenses force stops and keep the pace rather controlled.
Even the big names like Sam Darnold or Jaxon Smith-Njigba will have a hard time getting a lot of points on the board quickly.
In short, both teams have strong defenses and offenses that play in a controlled manner rather than spectacularly. Therefore, there is a lot to be said for a close, tactical game with few points. Anyone hoping for a spectacle with over 40 points could be disappointed in the end.
My Patriots Seahawks prediction:
In the end, my Super Bowl tip is what most established experts worldwide expect – a victory for the Seahawks in a duel that should be poor in touchdowns.
The point where I deviate slightly is that I see the Pats’ defense performing better than many expect. They have the necessary means to paralyze the supposedly better offensive game of the Seahawks with excellent pass rushing.
Consequently, the ball could be punted and kicked very often. The kickers of both teams should be used more often within reach.
My Patriots Seahawks tip: Under 49.0 points!
