The fact that 1. FC Nürnberg and Miroslav Klose intend to continue their cooperation beyond the summer of 2026 has often been communicated by both sides. But the extension was a long time coming, and recently there are said to have been dissonances between the coach and the management with regard to squad planning. These have now been cleared up and the signature on the new contract, which had actually been expected for the time around the turn of the year, could be dry this week. At least this is reported by the “Nürnberger Nachrichten”. There is “not much left” against long-term development work in the Franconian metropolis, Klose is quoted by the “NN”, that the negotiations will now fail “I cannot imagine”.
