Frankfurt – Gladbach Tip, AI Prediction & Odds 14.02.2026

Frankfurt – Gladbach Tip Bundesliga, Matchday 22 on Saturday, 14/02/2026 at 15:30 CET

The ink under Albert Riera’s employment contract has not even dried properly, and many SGE fans already fear that the board has made the wrong decision with him.

And to be honest: To have fired a total of three shots on goal for Köpenick on the last matchday is simply not enough for such a glorious club of this kind.

Unless much has happened in this short period of time, I calculate that a Frankfurt Gladbach bet on a draw has the best chances of a payout. At least the ratio between stake and payout of just under 1:4 traded by German betting providers is difficult to top.

The unfounded preference of the eagle bearers on the part of the betting providers makes me take alternative paths, as I personally assume a 50:50 thing in view of the circumstances and the not noticeable spirit of optimism since the change of coach.

What may also have prompted the bookmakers to favor Eintracht on matchday 22 of the season is the direct comparison.

After all, Eintracht are unbeaten in nine Bundesliga duels against Mönchengladbach (W5 D4) – Gladbach’s last win dates back to a 4-0 win at home in April 2021.

Frankfurt – Gladbach Prediction & Betting

I have several ingenious Frankfurt Gladbach bets in store for you, which require some courage, but would instantly multiply your stake if successful.

Under 2.5 goals at odds of around 2.06 sounds counterintuitive in Frankfurt’s most entertaining games so far, but the picture has changed.

Eintracht and Mönchengladbach in particular have suddenly had the fewest shots on goal in the Bundesliga since New Year’s Day (55 and 53 respectively), and the Hessians even have the lowest expected goals in the league in 2026 at 5.4.

Draw-no-bet: Gladbach is another betting option that inspires me tremendously. The odds of about 2.78 appeal to me immensely, and the discouraged Eagles can unfortunately be trusted to do anything at the moment anyway – even a bankruptcy against Borussia!

What you need to consider when betting on Frankfurt vs. Gladbach

  • Home debut for the new coach: After the 1-1 draw at Union Berlin, Albert Riera plays his first game at Deutsche Bank Park against Gladbach and hopes to improve the balanced home record (4 wins, 4 losses)
  • Historic spectacle in the first leg: The last meeting in September ended in a memorable 6-4 win for Eintracht, with Gladbach conceding six goals in just 47 minutes before the comeback began
  • Risk vs. safety football: Frankfurt has the second most dangerous attack in the league with an average of 4.14 goals per game, while Gladbach ranks in the bottom third with 2.81 goals
  • Kalimuendo under observation: The winter signing did not have a shot on goal on Riera’s debut, but has already scored two goals in six appearances and remains the hope in Frankfurt’s front line

Frankfurt – Gladbach: AI Tip & Odds Analysis

There are various experienced experts who can have completely different opinions about the same game. For example, I don’t share the opinion of our Frankfurt Gladbach AI forecast, which is fed with a vast amount of data.

Recommending Over 3.5 Goals to you may make statistical sense. After all, Eintracht’s Bundesliga matches this season have scored the second-most goals in the league with an average of 4.14 goals.

Nevertheless, new coach Riera has not yet introduced a convincing offensive concept, and in view of the gaps in the defence, I expect cautious eagles on Saturday, who will prefer safety to risk.

Therefore, even the Frankfurt Gladbach betting odds of about 2.82 traded on the markets are simply not incentive enough for me.

So it may come as no surprise that our prediction model also recommends the selection of both teams. But consequently, as with the first proposal, my enthusiasm is again limited.

It may be true that this condition has not been met more often in the current season at any other Bundesliga club than in the games of the Hessians (16 times).

But that doesn’t mean that there has to be a regularity. Especially since the odds of about 1.62 are not exactly the burner and Oscar Hojlund’s red card is missing an important impulse generator in midfield.

The best odds for Frankfurt vs. Gladbach

The bookmakers seem to continue to rely on Eintracht for this pairing according to the current Frankfurt Gladbach odds, even after the fresh change of coach and the ongoing crisis!

A home win for SGE is traded at 1.94. The markets thus reward the experience, the offensive penetration and the home crowd – success is considered likely, even if I am rather skeptical about it.

The draw is 3.80. Here, the bookmakers expect a scenario in which both teams act tactically cautiously, wait for chances and do not take any risky steps. A point win for both is realistic, but is not primarily expected.

An away win for Gladbach is rated 3.60. The Foals have individual class and tactical flexibility, but the bookmakers see them at a slight disadvantage – an away win would be a surprise, but possible.

The Frankfurt Gladbach odds thus anticipate a duel in which Frankfurt is the favourite, but Gladbach has enough quality to make the game open and create tension.

Frankfurt vs Gladbach Match Analysis:

Eintracht seems to me to be pretty lacking in ideas going forward, and defensively there are big gaps. It is quite possible that they will act cautiously against Gladbach and will be more concerned with keeping the score at 0-0 than conceding an early goal.

As a result, the game could remain goalless for long stretches before Frankfurt are increasingly forced to take more risks and bridge the midfield more aggressively on the way forward.

Frankfurt has been struggling defensively this season, with an average of 2.19 goals conceded per league game. Gladbach should therefore get enough chances despite the low xG value.

The SGE also presses more actively than Gladbach and could dominate the game in the areas of possession and space control, but the home side are vulnerable immediately after losing the ball. They must therefore be particularly careful of counterattacks by the guests, because that is where their greatest danger lies!

And precisely because the SGE is aware of all this, I expect them to initially take a safety-first approach on Saturday.

Frankfurt Form Check

Eintracht Frankfurt under new coach Albert Riera missed out on a possible start to the Bundesliga on Friday when Union Berlin equalised at 1-1 in the closing stages.

The draw dropped Frankfurt to eighth place in the table and extended the winless streak in the league to seven games – the longest since the spring of 2023. Only Werder Bremen (11) and Heidenheim (eight) currently have longer negative streaks.

Riera still has to do without several key players. Oscar Hojlund is suspended and unavailable. Ansgar Knauff, one of the most important attackers with three goals so far this season, has a cold and is expected to miss the game against Gladbach.

Jonathan Burkardt, on the other hand, is suffering from a calf injury and is not expected to return until mid-February. Other absentees include Michy Batshuayi, Can Uzun, Younes Ebnoutalib and Elias Baum, who will also be out for the game against Gladbach.

Gladbach form check

Borussia Mönchengladbach were held to a 1-1 draw against Leverkusen in the Rhine derby last weekend, which means that the Foals remain in the relegation zone. With a three-point lead over Bremen and Wolfsburg, the pressure remains high.

The Foals are winless in five Bundesliga games and are experiencing their longest drought of this kind under coach Eugen Polanski, who is of course all too aware of the predicament. In the last eight matchdays, only one victory was achieved.

Polanski does not have to do without as many players as Riera at Frankfurt, but he is still missing important attacking forces. Giovanni Reyna and Tim Kleindienst are absent due to injury, but Tabakovic has at least proven himself as a reliable replacement and has already scored ten goals.

Robin Hack and Nathan Ngoumou are also out of action, while Kevin Diks is unavailable due to suspension.
