What kicker had already reported is now official: Dieter Hecking will succeed Daniel Bauer at VfL Wolfsburg, which is acutely threatened with relegation. The 61-year-old, who had to leave VfL Bochum at the end of September, returns to the Wolves after almost ten years. “Dieter Hecking brings exactly the experience we need in the current situation,” explained VfL sporting director Pirmin Schwegler.
