Jonas Hofmann is expected to leave Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the summer of 2027. “As of now, 2027 is the end in Leverkusen,” Hofmann said in a “Sky” interview. The club has informed him that his contract, which runs until 2027, “is not to be extended at the moment. That would mean that next year will be my last in Leverkusen.” Hofmann would then be 35, but does not want to end his career yet: “I’m in full swing, so it shouldn’t end in general.”
