Mario Götze has extended his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt, which expires in the summer, by two years until 2028. This was announced by the SGE early Wednesday evening. “Mario is a very important player for the team and the club and an equally important personality,” said sporting director Markus Krösche in praise of the 33-year-old, who has made 148 competitive appearances in an Eintracht shirt (12 goals).
